Vesper for iOS, now with sync. No Mac OS app yet, though. Once that
arrives, I shall give serious thought to switching over.

James drove a submarine! Blimey!

I've got a new favourite photo app on my phone

Forgotten but not lost in a mapless world: "My daughter was surprised to
hear I used to carry maps in my car. Now I just use Google Maps to show me
the way. I completely lost my map finding skills and often my sense of
direction. Last week I ate at a restaurant managed by a relative in San
Antonio. I couldn't really tell you where in San Antonio it was, Google
Maps just took me on a series of highways to get there and then a series of
highways to get to my hotel near the airport afterwards."

... this strikes a chord. I spent hours of my childhood staring at maps,
thinking about how they related to the real world. We still don't have a
satnav in our car. We buy a new road atlas every few years.

Development plans for Kettle's Yard. I can remember their last lot of
development plans, back when they built the bit they seem to want to
re-build all over again.

some installations there once. ORGANISED SOME INSTALLATIONS. AT KETTLE'S
YARD.)

Statiked is a GUI wrapper for Jekyll, the command-line software built for
making static websites/blogs. It's still a bit rough round the edges and
has some limitations - none of the built-in themes look very nice, and it
only uploads to Github or Amazon S3 at the moment - but it gets other
things right (such as letting you pick your own text editor). One to watch,
if you're interested in this sort of thing.
